A cup of this type of love

I love Shihan and have been a long time since i've been a big fan!
We need more men like this in this world <3
This is a twist on Shihan's poem that has more of a female influence to it but, be sure to check out his version on youtube! (I put a link at the bottom of this post)

but most of all enjoy! :)

I want a love like
Me thinking of you
Thinking of me thinking of you type love
Or me telling my friends more than I’ve ever admitted to myself
About how I feel about you type love
Or hating how jealous you are
But loving how much you want me all to yourself type love
Or see how your first name just sound so good next to my last name
And shit I wanted to see how far I could get without calling you
And I barely made it out of my garage
See, I want a love that makes me wait until he falls asleep
And wonder if he’s dreaming about us being in love type love
Or who loves the other more
Or what he’s doing this exact moment
Or slow dancing in the middle of our apartment to the music of our hearts
Closing my eyes and imagining how a love so good
Could hurt so much when he’s not there
And shit I love not knowing where this love is headed type love
And check this, I want to place those little post-it notes
All around the room so he never forgets how much I love him type love
And not have enough ink in my pen to write all there is to love about him type love
And hope I make him feel as good as he makes me feel
And I want to deal with my friends making fun of me
The way I made fun of them when they went through the same kind of love type love
Only difference is, this is one of those real love type loves
And just like in high school
I want to spend hours on the phone not saying shit
And then fall asleep and then wake up with him right next to me
And smell him all up in my covers type love
I want to try counting the ways I love him
And lose count in the middle just so I have to start all over again
And I want to celebrate one of those one month anniversaries
Even though they ain’t really anniversaries
But doing it just ‘cause it makes him happy type love
And, check this, I want to fall in love with the melody the phone plays
When none of us dialed into it type love
And talk to you until I lose my breathe
he leaves me breathless
But with the expanding of my lungs I inhale all of him back into me
I want a love that makes me need to change my cell phone calling plan
To something allows me to talk to him longer
‘cause in all honesty, I want to avoid one of them high cell phone bill type loves
And I want a love that makes me regret how small my hands are
I mean the lines on my palms don’t give me enough time
To love you as long as I’d like to type love
And I want a love that makes me st-st-st-st-stutter
Just thinking about how strong this love is type love
And I want a love that makes me want to cut off all my hair
Well, maybe not all of the hair
Maybe like I cut the split ends and trim my bangs
But it would still be a symbol of how strong my love for him
And check this, I kind of feel comfortable now
So I even be fantasizing about walking out on a green light
Just dying to get hit by a car
Just so I could lose my memory
Get transported to some third world country just to get treated
Then somehow meet up again with you so I can fall in love with you
In a different language and see if it still feels the same type love
I want a love that’s as unexplainable as he is
But I’m married, so he’s gonna be the one I share this love with.

A Cup of Enlightened Prospect

I’ve learned … That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.
I’ve learned … That when you’re in love, it shows.
I’ve learned … That just one person saying to me, “You’ve made my day!” makes my day.
I’ve learned … That being kind is more important than being right.
I’ve learned … That I can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help him in some other way.
I’ve learned … That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
I’ve learned … That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
I’ve learned … That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I’ve learned … That we should be glad God doesn’t give us everything we ask for.
I’ve learned … That it’s those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I’ve learned … That under everyone’s hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
I’ve learned … That the Lord didn’t do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
I’ve learned … That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I’ve learned … That when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
I’ve learned … That love, not time, heals all wounds.
I’ve learned … That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
I’ve learned … That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
I’ve learned … That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
I’ve learned … That life is tough, but I’m tougher.
I’ve learned … That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
I’ve learned … That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
I’ve learned … That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
I’ve learned … That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
I’ve learned … That I can’t choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
I’ve learned … That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.
I’ve learned … That it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.
I’ve learned … That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

a cup of the cold past.

why is it that everytime I go back for another post is when I'm at my all time low?
I've been in this new country for 2 months and will be back home in about a month time.
I don't know how I feel about leaving and returning back to reality. I've learned so much about myself and my family while here. I guess I'm in a bittersweet agreement at the moment.

I am so unbeilevably loved. Yet right now, I want to go home. I know I'm gonna regret this post when I go home and read this back but I miss home.

a cup of cold bitter espresso

I just feel unloved. Im not holding on so well.
Maybe it's the lack of sleep i've been getting the past few nights.
I'm glad i'm getting a break and leaving for a while.
As of now, I feel like the world is against me.

I need to step back and just see things in a bigger perspective.

a cup of YOU

You. Yes, you. I am writing this for you.

I know you are reading this. And I want you to know I am writing this for you. No one else will understand. No one else knows. They think that this is for them. But it’s not. I am writing this for you.

I want you to know, life…it’s hard. Every day can be a challenge. It can be a challenge to get up in the morning. To get yourself out of bed. To put on that smile. But I want you to know, that smile is what keeps me going some days. You need to remember, even through the tough times, you are amazing. You really are.

You should be happy. You are gorgeous.

I know that the weather might not be perfect. You might have to turn your back to the wind or feel the cold nipping at your nose. But you know what, at least you are there to feel it. At least you can enjoy the sun’s warm rays on your face. Or that cold wind biting at your cheeks. You know what that means?

You are alive.

Everything will be okay:)

"bullshit" over ice with a splash of anger yah?

So, I've came to a point in life, where i really don't give a shit.
Not to sounds depressing, but what the fuck is the purpose? because frankly, I don't have one. My mind is all over the place, not that it wasn't before but it was hell as fuck more organized then it is now. As you can tell, I'm quite overwhelmed at the moment with life. It feels like every step i take i will just fucking pass out.
Some things that blow my mind, about myself...
1) I'm trying to rush into a relationship, but why? I sure as fuck don't have anything together and on top of that, i'm trying to start something i won't even be able to keep..
2) I don't give a damn fuck about school, which makes me scared..
3) I don't want to be family, I don't trust anyone anymore... which is super sad... don't you think? For the longest time, it was always, "blood is thicker than water"... now i don't know what to think. Pretty fucked up to me.
4)I feel more distant to my friends more than ever, I feel this way because I honestly don't know who my true friends are..
I feel like i don't have any foundation.. I feel like even God can't help me and also as stupid as this sounds, I don't want His help... I mean I may sound self absorbed but hear me out... why the fuck is all this happening? I know the typical "christian" answer as in, "Oh Lisa, God is just testing you". WELL HOMMIE, that shit doesn't work on me anymore.. it worked in grade 10 and all i can say to that is you can take all that "bullshit" and shove it up your a$$ :)
anyways sorry for this rant but in conclusion came to the understanding that life is a bitch
cheers to a cup of anger.
Lisa
